Bigley Eyecare Associates is an in-network provider for most vision and medical insurance plans.

Vision plans are billed for routine eye exams, contact lens exams, eyeglasses, and contact lenses.  Vision plans provide benefits for a routine eye exam to determine a prescription for glasses.  Vision plans do not pay for the management of ocular health symptoms or conditions.

Medical insurance is billed for ocular health and treatment exams such as for red eyes, eye injuries, infections, dry eye, floaters, diabetic exams and managing any ocular disease such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.  Medical insurance is also billed for procedures such as foreign body removal and specialized testing such as photos, OCT, and visual field tests.

The insurance companies determine the billing requirements and Bigley Eyecare Associates is obligated to follow them.  It is the patient’s responsibility to pay any copay, deductible, or other balance not paid by the insurance company.

We accept payment via cash, check, most credit cards, FSA/HSA plans, and Care Credit.  Call our office at 724-887-5820 and ask for the billing department with any questions.
